Meet Our Head Artist
Welcome to Make Me Glamorous Bridal Hair and Makeup! Meet our head artist and owner, Gina Marie. Gina Marie has a passion for hair and makeup that began in her early teens. She was only seventeen years old when she started working in the beauty industry as a receptionist-assistant in a local salon. She found herself dreaming of one day becoming a successful artist and decided to pursue a career as a bridal beauty specialist.
Gina Marie enrolled in her local BOCES cosmetology program where she learned the basics of hair cutting, coloring, styling, and more. She surpassed her classmates by placing in every updo competition. She clearly had a gift for creating beautiful styles! Gina Marie continued to develop her skills by attending ongoing education and mastered the art of hair and makeup.
Over the years, Gina Marie has worked in multiple high-end salons where her talent as a young artist continued to grow. She was given the opportunity to assist editorial shoots and runway shows, working closely with talented makeup artists. She became fascinated by the power of makeup and began to build her portfolio as her passion for weddings grew.
In 2010, she founded Make Me Glamorous Bridal Hair and Makeup. Working her way up in the wedding industry, she established trusting relationships with reputable and skillful vendors. Her work was recognized and featured in wedding blogs and local magazines. She built a team of trusted professionals who shared her love for the industry, and she has been given the opportunity to serve countless brides. She’s even had some celebrity bridal clients! In addition to all she’s accomplished in the beauty industry, Gina Marie is proud to be a single mom to four amazing kids.
